Tung Sum Leong
Tung Sum Leong, Samuel, is a persistent and self-motivated young artist with a strong visual sense and hand-on experience in oil painting, illustration and graphic design. He explored different drawing techniques and artistic skills throughout his studies.
Samuel graduated from Hong Kong Design Institute in 2020 and Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Art in 2024. Samuel has dabbled in oil painting, illustration, digital art, typography, graphic design. His study and personal experiences helped him develop his own artistic vision and style in his work.

Self-hatred and rejection are necessary stages in growth. The work expresses the artist’s contradictory and complicated feelings about some of his own characteristics that cannot be changed and cannot be accepted, but he desires to express them.
