Marble Stone
35cm x 50cm
A long-dormant egg-shaped creature lives under a tree. The egg shape represents the development, rebirth, and fresh start. It reflects the fragility and promise of life and acts as a metaphor for the never-ending cycle of life. The timeless and enduring character of the marble material contrasts with the fleeting essence of existence and the timeless beauty of art. On the aspect of the posture, it is hugging itself by the hands, which seems like building protection for itself, showing part of itself but still has certain reservations. The shape, material choices, and posture. Meanwhile, it also represented my uneasiness about fitting in a new place last year, but still trying to approach the external world. However, the message that I express is just my elaboration, not resenting others, in my opinion, the reason why abstract is abstract is that it can provide imagination space to the viewer. Thus, the sculpture invites viewers to interact with their ideas and feelings by purposefully omitting a title, creating a special bond between the viewer and the piece of art. Since the reflection is open-ended, everyone can contribute their experiences and perspectives to the work, creating a contemplative and exploratory atmosphere. More than that, the sculpture’s purpose extends beyond the artwork itself to certain extents. It aims to establish a profound connection with the surrounding environment. By positioning the sculpture in a particular area, such as a park, garden, or public area, it can engage spectators in conversation with the piece and its surroundings. The artwork serves as a hub for conversation and introspection, encouraging individuals to pause, reflect, and engage with the natural world around them.

Ceramics
5cm x 15cm each
A way to see an area that people always ignore. I came to understand that most individuals are blind to the inside space of a container and are only aware of the exterior of pottery. Every trace of a ceramic wheeling piece’s formation was recorded onto the body throughout the throw-wheeling procedure. But the cutting procedure eliminates those visual marks. As a result, individuals are unable to see how the final thing grows during the construction phase. Consequently, I create an opening in my wheel-throwing items, like to ceramic pieces attempting to invite the viewer to explore their own interior. When the texture of the throwing process is coordinated with the light irradiation, it becomes more noticeable.
