Tako Lam works as a Hong Kong-based artist, he feels amazed by how three-dimensional art can alter a space. During his artistic process, he looks at shape, materiality, and how space and object interact. By challenging their preconceptions and evoking strong feelings, he wants to transport spectators to a realm where dreams and reality collide.

He respects the intrinsic properties of the materials he works with much before he starts any creative activity. Whether every material is composed of mixed media, stone, metal, or wood, their weight, texture, and expressive potential are among their distinctive features. He respects these materials’ natural qualities and lets them influence and direct his creative choices.
