Lau Mei Ling
Lau Mei Ling, Dorothy is a Hong Kong based silkscreen artist and illustrator.
Her work is inspired by street art, social issues, and narrative. She uses screen printing as a process to create imagery and finalizing designs. In this commercial city, Hong Kongers’ attitude is attractive and how they express their feelings. Using drawing, photography and collage for recording she creates vivid, atmospheric artworks that explore the Hong Kong around us and the stories we tell.
Dorothy has studied illustration design from Hong Kong Design Institute, and she is interested in craft beer and Hong Kong culture which design a craft beer brand, Hok Saang Gor, about Hong Kong students building up a better behaviour.
