Being monitored gives me trepidation.

We live in a panopticon, and everyone peeks into the world. We are being scanned and monitored, which reflects the uneasiness and ubiquitous depression of today’s young people in society. different single social conditions reflected the current society. The existing question is where does the current social situation come from? How will our new generations be affected in the future?

Surveillance, security? Privacy, insecurity? Safe corner is an installa- tion that explores the phenomenon of surveillance in contemporary society.

A mutated ordinary space. The colour creates a calm atmosphere, while disturbing elements are hidden within. The venue is dimly lit, symbolising something happening in the dark. Further peeping is ini- tiated. The audience looking at it will discover that they are sneaking themselves, so they feel and think — 24-hour surveillance in public areas is a social policy, but it permissive in private space? Is this a top- down measure? Or is it the usual behavior among people? Safe corner invites the audience to reflect on the purpose, function, and bound- aries of surveillance. Building materials become the tool for cover surveillance, and this sense of uneasiness generated by this ironic episode just stimulates the audiences to rethink the conflict between safe society and the preservation of individual freedom.

My mom always mentioned my grandmother who had passed away as if she were right next to me, but I never touched her, and I created this ceramic sculpture to express that I wanted to touch my grandmother and wanted to hug her, to hug someone who didn’t exist, who couldn’t see, who couldn’t touch in my life, but existed in my heart.

Among the five senses, I choose eyes. We use eyes to see the existence of the world, and there are also invisible ones, such as WiFi .air. 2We live on the earth, and the earth is closely related to existence. My hair grew and I couldn’t feel the pain of cutting it off, so I cut off my hair and used it as eyelashes to spice things up.
Eleventh Love Letter
