Amber Diana Macafe Busby
Amber Busby is a Hong Kong-based visual artist. Her works range from paintings and drawings to screen printed works. Amber takes inspiration from the world around her and aims to express the contemporary human experience through her art, with a focus on the relationship with the self as well as the influence of Internet culture.
Recently, Amber has taken an interest in the exploration of screen printing and its abilities and limitations. Her latest works are a reflection and personal catharsis on health issues she has been experiencing – the struggles, the pain, and the relief that comes with sickness and recovery. Through this, Amber advocates for self-love and appreciation of the human body, its abilities, and its functionality.
