藝術家簡介
Au Wai Lok is from Hong Kong. His work relates to children's conditions, social issues, and self-memory. His primary methods of creating artwork are digital illustration and hand drawing with acrylics. In his previous works, he often used surrealism or horror, which are his favorite styles. Some of his pieces depict scenes from fantasy dreams and impressions, exaggerated to express something that lies between the familiar and the unusual. Additionally, cold and dark color tones, such as blue and green, are frequently used as the main colors in his drawings. This aims to create a vibe of silence, loneliness, and the unvisited.
歐偉樂來自香港，他的作品主題與兒童狀況、社會問題和自我記憶有關。他主要使用電繪插畫或手繪創作。他早期的作品中常運用超現實主義或恐怖元素，其中一些描繪了奇幻夢境或印象的場景，並加以誇張處理，以展現介於熟悉與陌生之間的事物。此外，他喜歡在畫作中使用冷色調和暗色調，例如藍色和綠色，旨在營造一種寂靜、孤獨和無人問津的氛圍。

A looping videos combined with fifteen digital painting, there are three chapters, "Being watch", "Trap" and "Duplicate" shows from the small computer screen.
The digital painting use old Windows landscape wallpaper as a backdrop with various elements and objects, to convey the various crises and traps lurking in today’s online world. The unusual animal and creature imagery symbolizes one’s own exposure and insecurity online. Playgrounds represent the allure and potential dangers of the internet. And the duplicate scenes reflect the things is hard to tell truth and false on the internet.
這部循環影片由十五幅數位繪畫組成，分為三個章節：「被監視」、「陷阱」和「複製」，在小型電腦螢幕展示。
數位繪畫以舊電腦草原壁紙為背景，融合了各種元素和物體，旨在展現當今網路世界中潛藏的各種危機和陷阱。奇特的動物和生物形象象徵著人們在網路上的暴露和不安全感。遊樂場景代表了網路的誘惑力和潛在危險。而複製的場景則反映了網路上真假難辨的現狀。

The composition used a slight elevation to represent a scene from a child's vision, applied black and white in the foreground and a colourful background to create a contrast of reality and fantasy. Thus, the transportation tools become a surreal giant.

The inspiration is from my dream. There are hundreds of people sleeping on the stairs, covered with bedclothes and a light bulb on top. The space is just like a giant stair. There is something like a ghost following me.
