CHAN Ka Chun
Mo Chan (Ka Chun), born and raised in Hong Kong, is going to be a graduate of Visual Art from HKBU in 2024. He is an illustration and painting artist to express thinking and creativity. His works are mainly about the relation and some whimsy in daily life—Majorly, drawing and expressing them with still life and animal portraits. Besides that, he is also interested in storytelling and 3D media. He had participated in a children’s book project with students of children’s education and created another storybook and zines before. However, he is more focused on using painting and illustration to represent the whole story and the idea behind it now.

If I collect 100 kinds of eyes, does it mean that I have met 100 different souls? When I get closer, boundaries are more and more clear than I thought. What is the boundary? At a certain moment, you clearly realise that someone or something is different from you, and you have a strong sense of alienation. This is a sense of boundary.
如果我收集了100種眼睛,是否代表我認識了100個不同的靈魂?我無限靠近他們,卻發現始終留有邊界感。甚麼是邊界感? 在某一個瞬間,你很清楚認識到某人某物與你的不一樣而産生強烈的疏遠感,這便是邊界感。
