ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
藝術家簡介
I am an illustrator who finds beauty in the quiet, subtle moments of life that are often overlooked in our fast-paced world. Through my art, I aim to invite my audience to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the small yet meaningful details that shape our everyday experiences.
I also love to explore themes of childhood, capturing its innocence, curiosity, and wonder. My style is inspired by children's picture books, with a playful sense of humor that brings warmth and whimsy to my work.

The city is filled with signs, quietly shaping our movements, decisions, and journeys. They provide order and safety, yet they also define boundaries.
What happens when those boundaries are crossed? When walking becomes an act of discovery, unbound by direction or instruction?

Lok has worked with the alchemical identity to explore her own identity when she is surrounded in a new environment during her exchange period in Australia. Her thoughts about “home” in these two different places have become the focus of the painting. Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan’s “Passage” (Project Another Country, 2006), has inspired Lok’s theme setting-up, while Daniel Heidkamp’s “Massif”, 2015 (Calanque 2021) has inspired Lok in having a vibrant palette in her painting.

Inspired by Kacey Wong’s Paddling Home 2010, this artwork takes the concept further by expanding it into a humorous story. Using Wong’s creation as the central theme, the narrative adopts the exaggerated tone often found in advertisements, where the “perfect lifestyle” is oversold.
