This video work depicts a headless mannequin that emerges from a singularity and keeps dancing, murmuring to itself within a world composed of points, lines, and planes.
Using 3D modeling, the artist draws the gaze back from the cosmos to the human body, reflecting on the harm that arises when emotions become water to snow that drifts and accumulates year after year, until the inner self hardens into a glacier.
The work explores how emotional knots form and how they might be untied, using the progression from point to plane and the forms of water as metaphors for the tensions between a person and their emotions. It suggests that by letting go of attachment, the inner layers of ice may loosen, allowing one to rediscover a direction of flow.
