藝術家簡介
Chen Lok Yu is an artist whose main medium is ceramics. Most of work is about my personal life. I like to use these themes in my works, such as nature, food, daily necessities in daily life, and transform them into work. My ideas and concepts are based on my observations. I use the properties of different types of clay to make my creation. I like to use different techniques, such as hand building, wheel throwing and mold casting to achieve my concept.

The work is about my walking meditation process. Through my continuous walking and meditation on the mountain, I repeated walking on different days, and my relationship with God became closer. I let go of the feeling of worries and stress in my life and focused on walking in nature. My walking method refers to the circular design of the labyrinth. By walking on the leaves, I wanted to feel the surrounding environment created by God.

This work is about the integration of Columba livia and the city. Columba livia are very close to our living environment. There are urban elements of blind bricks and street signs in the painting.
