Danny Chu investigates how artistic forms can mediate the relationship between external phenomena and inner emotional experience through experimental, cross-media practice. Drawing on photography, animation, sculpture, sound, and three-dimensional construction, he approaches each medium not as a fixed category, but as a distinct perceptual condition through which sensation, image, and meaning can be tested and reconfigured. 

His work examines how acts of viewing are shaped, interrupted, and transformed, opening unstable yet generative possibilities for perception across different forms. Moving between two-dimensional surfaces, moving images, and three-dimensional objects, he treats artmaking as an open-ended process of inquiry in which visual experience is not simply represented, but actively reorganized.  

Rather than committing to a single formal language, he uses shifts in medium as a way to think through sensation, perception, and expression, allowing each work to develop its own material and conceptual logic.

他的作品關注對事物與行為的觀察如何被形塑、打斷與改變，並嘗試在不同形式之間開啟不穩定卻富有生成性的感知可能。遊走於平面、動態影像與三維物件之間，他將藝術創作視為一種開放性的探究過程；在這個過程中，視覺經驗不再只是被再現，而是被主動地重新組織。 

他不執著於單一的形式語言，而是透過媒介之間的轉換，作為思考感官、知覺與表達的方式，讓每件作品都能發展出其自身的物質邏輯與概念邏輯。
