Dreams process unpleasant memories that go along with anxiety-inducing feelings. They attempt to establish links with other dream experiences and symbolic pictures partially replace the actual occurrences in order to integrate the unpleasant event with other, less emotionally charged memories which helps to integrate and soothe the violent emotionality. Finally, we will release ourselves within these lopping dreams and discover our inner tranquillity.
