Deeply invested in the connections between people, place, and memory, Grace Fung is a Hong Kong-based artist who uses her childish, playful, and energetic art style to capture the fleeting moments of joy in everyday life. Her practice revolves around immersive research through approaching communities, listening to their stories and understanding the essence of a specific place. These interactions become the foundation of Grace's work which allow her to translate lived experiences into visual narratives that preserve the moments and emotions that resonate with collective humanity.

“Can I Hug You?” is a participatory performance and multimedia installation exploring the delicate dynamics of giving and receiving love between strangers. The work documents the subtle, often vulnerable moments of connection—hesitant glances, tentative nods, and eventual embraces—capturing the unspoken emotions that arise when we allow ourselves to be open to love.
《擁抱 . 自由》是一場參與式行為藝術與多媒體裝置作品，探討陌生人之間給予與接受愛的微妙互動。這件作品記錄了人與人之間那些細膩而脆弱的情感瞬間——遲疑的目光、試探性的點頭，以及最終的相擁——捕捉當我們允許自己向愛敞開心扉時，那些無聲卻湧動的情緒。
作品以一個個小屏幕慢速播放每一段藝術家與陌生人相擁的片段，放大每一個相遇的情感，邀請觀者享受人與人之間互相連結的美好。在這個疏離感蔓延的時代，這件作品溫柔地喚醒我們對給予愛和接受愛的感知力，看似微小的溫柔，恰好能治癒彼此。
