ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Olly Ho was born in Hong Kong. Her practice focuses on painting and video installation. In previous practice, Ho used video performance to discuss gender issues related to both men and women. It includes the questioning of the relationship between nudity and sexuality, pointing out the neglected dilemma of men in a male-centered society.
In her current practice, Ho continues to explore video performance to discuss identity and relationships. Unlike her previous projects about hard topics like gender issues, Ho tries to use elements of clothing, cosplay, and her fictional character for further practice.

Ho uses masks and costumes to present 4 characters from the same family.
The artwork incorporates 4 masterpieces (Genesis from the Bible, Titanic, Sam Hui's My Blue Jeans, and Brokeback Mountain) to interpret the relationship between family members in a humorous style.
Ho also uses her body to build the stage and suggests the relationship between the creator and their fictional characters.
