Being sensitive and prone to emotional fluctuations has been a part of my personality since childhood. Some unresolved and unexpressed hurt has accompanied me as I grew up, shaping my current character. Does the absence of timely reactions to those poignant memories mean they no longer exist? I have never discussed these “trivial matters” with the people involved at the time, or perhaps they have become indifferent. However, the fact that I can still remember them now means they are considered “important matters."
