藝術家簡介
劉玟伶(2002年生於香港),是一位跨領域視覺藝術家及攝影師,以雕塑、水墨和攝影等作為創作媒介。她畢業於香港浸會大學視覺藝術學院,在香港藝術界累積了豐富的展覽管理經驗。在她的作品中,日常生活中被忽視的細節往往成為關鍵元素,透過敏銳的觀察力將平凡轉化為深刻的社會對話。她致力於通過多元媒材的實驗,探索藝術介入社會的可能性。她的藝術實踐不僅展現出對社會議題的深刻思考,更著重於捕捉城市生活中稍縱即逝的瞬間。
Lau Man Ling Mathilda (b. 2002, Hong Kong) is a multidisciplinary artist and photographer who works primarily with sculpture, ink painting, and photography. Mathilda graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University, she has accumulated extensive experience in exhibition management within Hong Kong’s art scene. In her work, overlooked details from daily life often become key elements, transforming ordinary moments into profound social dialogues through her keen observation. She is dedicated to exploring social intervention through experimental approaches with diverse media. Her artistic practice not only demonstrates deep reflection on social issues but also emphasizes capturing fleeting moments in urban life.

Ink rubbing

The work archives temporal strata through layered rubbings. Primary ink nuclei resemble photonic captures in camera obscura, while displaced secondary layers generate moiré patterns. Xuan paper’s capillary borders simulate silver halide migrations, translating rubbings into “exposure without cameras”.
墨跡在反覆壓印中形成地質沉積般的視覺斷代,初拓的墨核如暗箱捕捉的光量子,二次拓層的位移偏差產生光學干涉條紋。生宣纖維鎖住不同時間軸的壓力參數,毛細邊界的暈散效應模擬銀鹽晶體的離子遷移,將拓印行為轉譯為「沒有相機的曝光事件」。

Imprint 這件作品探索水墨藝術與攝影媒介之間的深層連結。作品靈感源於其早期以工筆水墨技法模擬菲林負片的實驗,透過影像反轉的視覺效果,開啟了對兩種媒介之間關係的深入思考。 以自然界中樹根的生長軌跡為創作主題,藝術家選擇拓印作為表現手法,不僅記錄了有機形態,更與攝影過程產生詩意的呼應。拓印過程中的不確定性,以及透過灑水、壓實紙張使細節逐漸浮現的過程,與菲林沖洗的體驗形成巧妙的對話。 在裝裱過程中,藝術家發現底部輔助宣紙剝離時的效果,與撕拉膠片(pack film)的體驗產生共鳴,為水墨與攝影這兩種媒介之間建立起新的連結,深化了創作的概念內涵。
