Nick works with charcoal and mixed media to explore the solitude and emotion of urban dwellers. With a realistic approach, he captures unspoken moments and transforms them into richly layered narratives. The gradations and textures of charcoal become traces of feeling, conveying quiet tension and psychological depth.
His work combines charcoal and ink, using the interplay of textures to respond to the fragmentation and reconstruction of memory and emotion in city life. For him, materials themselves carry stories, and the creative process becomes a dialogue between figuration and abstraction.
His art offers a gentle gaze upon contemporary alienation, seeing solitude not as emptiness but as a state waiting to be understood. Through concrete details that bear personal stories, he invites viewers to see their own experiences reflected, and to rediscover the silent connections between people.

I wander in my hometown, lingering between reality and memory. I trace the echoes of childhood—— do they still remain?
This work embodies the bond and attachment between my hometown and me. As the old scenery fades over time, do our sense of belonging to this land still the same?
I capture this hometown in black and white. With every reunion, the dark tones in my drawings deepen once more. Black erases the past, while white bears the scars of time. The clash of reality and memory blurs our sense of identification with this land.
Meeting again, the homeland in memory is no longer the same. As years drift on, it vanishes from reality and fades into memory.
Look back —— No Trace of Return.
我漫步在故鄉,於現實和回憶中徘徊。追憶兒時的痕跡——它們是否尚存?
作品凝結我與故鄉的眷念牽繫。當故裏風物逐漸消逝,我們對土地的歸屬,是否依舊?
我以黑白定格那片鄉裏,每次重逢,畫中黑又濃了一分。它抹走了過往,留下滄痕的白。如現實與記憶的碰撞,模糊了我們的身份歸依 。
相逢 ,憶中故土,已然不同。隨歲月輪轉,于現實中匿跡,在記憶中隱沒。
慕然回首——無跡可歸。

These unchanging plants carry countless memories and emotional connections between us.

Succulents do not require frequent watering and are highly adaptable; generally, watering once every 1-2 weeks is sufficient.
They are suitable for busy urban people.
