Installation (sweaters, steel structure, wire, clips)
160 x 105 x 40 cm
This work presents a repetitive bodily condition of self-wrapping through layers of school sweaters installed on a steel structure. The work originates from experiences of insecurity towards body image and heightened sensitivity to being observed in social environments during secondary school.
The sweaters gradually move beyond their everyday function, becoming a protective layer attached to the body that conceals the self and reduces presence. The steel frame and wire structure suspend and fix the garments in space, extending the act of wrapping into a spatial condition.
Through repetition, suspension, and tension, the work reflects a coexistence of safety and constraint, gradually forming a condition shaped by self-protective mechanisms.
Interrupted 中斷
Photographic installation (photographs, empty frames)
Six framed photographs, 17 x 14 cm each
"Interrupted" consists of one student portrait and five empty frames, forming a fragmented representation of an incomplete secondary school experience. The single photograph records one year of school identity, while the empty frames correspond to the five uncompleted years.
As a standardized institutional image, the student portrait reflects systems that regulate and define identity. Through the contrast between image and absence, the work reveals interruption, absence, and the tension between institutional structures and personal experience.

Sensitive Mind is a self-reflective zine documenting my journey as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). Through visual storytelling, I explore the challenges of absorbing external emotions, the struggle of people-pleasing, and the vital necessity of boundaries.
Central to this project is Adler's “separation of tasks,” which helped me recognize that much of my distress came from carrying responsibilities that were not mine. This insight dictates the zine’s visual progression: early pages are crowded with pink and purple hues—representing overwhelming external emotions—while later pages transition to blue, symbolizing the reclaiming of my own emotional space.
The choice of Risograph printing reinforces this complexity. Its inherent imperfections—misalignments and grainy textures—act as a metaphor for the uneven, imperfect process of healing and self-acceptance. Ultimately, Sensitive Mind serves as a reminder that setting boundaries is not an act of selfishness, but of self-respect. Sensitivity is a profound strength, but only when we learn to protect it by listening to our own voices.
