People depart from their hometowns for a myriad of personal reasons. As time unfolds, the vivid memories of their hometown gradually dissolve into fragmented images. Each fragment from the tapestry of daily life in the past is imbued with a bittersweet longing, creating a complex emotion.  

For those who leave Hong Kong, these fragments become toxic, leading to a condition known as homesick. This yearning is more than just a wistful memory but also manifests as a deep-seated pain like drug addiction.  

They long to savor the essence of their memories, yet they must endure the profound powerlessness that distance imposes. Trapped in a contradiction between the good old days and the reality of current existence, unable to extricate oneself. 

人們因為各種各樣的原因離開家鄉。隨著時間的流逝，他們對家鄉的記憶逐漸消散成碎片。過去日常生活中的每個片段都充滿了苦樂參半的渴望，營造出複雜的情感。 

對於離開香港的人而言，這些碎片具有毒性，會令人染上那一種名為思鄉的病。這種思念不只是一種渴望的回憶，也表現為一種像染上毒癮一般根深蒂固的痛苦。 

他們既渴望細味一切家的回憶，卻又必須承受距離所帶來那深刻的無力感。陷入曾經的美好與當前生存的現實之間，卻又不能自拔的矛盾。
