藝術家簡介
Li Charlotte is a conceptual artist who creates crafts, games and workshops. Her works are collections of variety of experience and resources, and she explores her artworks in the theme of social phenomena together with women's issues.
Charlotte specialises in designing experiential facilities and promoting education at the same time.
In her work, there are many elements that we see every day, but are always overlooked.

Mixed Media on Sanitary Napkins
混合媒介在衛生巾上
Dimensions Variable
Whenever I am on my period, “Don’t talk in front of those men!" This is a common refrain at home. Mom, I’m sorry! I am against it! By inviting people of different ages and backgrounds to draw on sanitary napkins, "Hey, I am on my period!" creates an opportunity to explore and exchange views on menstruation and sex education between the two genders. An excerpt from the Lesson for Women was sewn onto the sanitary napkins as an ironic statement that "Menstruation is not something to be ashamed of, Women are not defined".
月事到點一逢，「唔好成日係啲男人老狗面前講啦！」 一句在家常入耳。
媽媽，抱歉！我持反對意見！
《喂，我今日嚟M！》透過邀請不同年齡及背景的人群於衛生巾上作畫，創造兩性之於月經及性教育的探討及交流機會。再於多塊衛生巾上縫上《女誡》（節錄）作反諷，以道出「月經不羞於講，女性不被定義。」

In this age of Bluetooth devices and digital music, I still love to collect CDs and listen to them with my CD player and wired headphones. It’s like I’m out of touch, I’m in a different era than the rest of the world, but I guess I’m just stuck with pure music.

The surroundings are constantly being trodden upon and infiltrated, much like a chessboard. Just consider this: the environment will become contaminated, and the chess set will become unplayable if trash is thrown into it at random, just like when a piece of chess is lost.
