Mang Wing Mei
Mang was born and raised in Hong Kong. She is a Visual Arts undergraduate student at Hong Kong Baptist University. Mang is enchanted by contemporary art and has attempted to perform her artwork in both digital and painting formats. Her artworks often relate to her daily observations about human passion, emotion and life. In the past few years, she has participated in a few group exhibitions, including, “Miu5”, “Wandering・Wander” and “Zou”.
孟穎薇是一位本土創作者，現正修讀香港浸會大學的視覺藝術科。在過去的幾年中，她的創作媒介主要以繪畫、互動媒體和影像為主，以藝術探索生活中不經意的人和事。她的作品曾於「淼」、「蕩・盪」和「竈」等數個聯展中展出。此外，她亦曾經與不同的學校合作，於校園進行壁畫創作。

It is a painting of the colour palette. When nothing but pigments are left on the canvas, the colour combination and pattern create a dynamic form in the canvas. I am mesmerised by this form and put my observations and imagination on top of it.
這幅畫沒有具象元素，而是通過顏料的自由流動構成畫面雛形。再加上自己對畫面痕跡的觀察，繪畫出色塊的本身。
