ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
In her ceramic works, Noel explores the untold stories hidden within the clay, viewing each piece as a record of time, memory and the forces of nature. Her practice embraces the poetry that arises spontaneously during the process, such as cracks, fissures, and glaze deviations that emerge in dialogue with fire.
Through this interaction with the material, Noel questions the concepts of perfection and eternity. Her work becomes a silent witness to growth and reconstruction, excavating profound narratives from the easily overlooked boundaries of everyday life. She explores how to witness and preserve the silent history of the earth itself in a unique, transformed form.

Evoking Hong Kong in ceramic sculpture. The essence of Hong Kong, a city whose identity is defined by density, verticality and the constant trade-off between immense pressure and breathtaking beauty.
The simple act of eating and drinking is elevated by their forms which are chosen for their gentle and rounded familiarity. Similar to a tree’s annual rings or a seashell’s spiral archive. These marble designs are more than just ornamental. They serve as a tangible record of the object’s creation.
