ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Jason Sung is keen on exploring the human form through creating figurative sculpture in the meticulous use of silicone, plaster, and clay. Drawing on his background in robotics installations, Jason creates hyper-realistic works that challenge the boundaries of perception. His practice aims to deliver a profound visual shock, forcing viewers to confront the tension between the organic and the artificial.

The robotic arm repeatedly scratches the silicone mannequin with cold, mechanical precision. The mannequin sits in silence, passively receiving each deliberate cut. In this speechless, cyclical interaction, an instinctive and automatic rhythm emerges — a relentless urge for itch relief that quietly deepens the wound in an endless cycle.
